Saints win Super Cup at Waterstone College

Saints Christian School's U13 girls soccer team were in a class of their own.

Saints Christian School will need to make more space in their stacked trophy cabinet after claiming their newest trophy.

This time, the U13 Girls Soccer team lifted the prestigious Waterstone College Super Cup after beating Heronbridge College by 2-1 on penalties after the match ended 1-1 after regulation time.

The girls played superb soccer under head coach, Claudio Lucas and assistant coach, Shiloh Vorster.

They first faced the eventual runners-up, Heronbridge College and beat them convincingly by 4-0.

The next match, Saints defeated Kings School West Rand 2-0, before taking down Curro Wilgeheuwel by 3-0.

The semi-final was a tighter affair against Savana City in a 1-0 win.

Overall, Saints only conceded 1 goal in five matches, which shows their strength in organisation and game management.
