The JB Marks Municipality’s leadership gave three local schools a fitting send-off ahead of the highly anticipated Kay Motsepe National School Championship finals, taking place from 27-30 September in Soshanguve, Pretoria.
Saints Christian School (u13 girls), Potchefstroom Primary (u13 boys) and Thuto Boswa Secondary School (u19 boys) will represent the JB Marks region as North West representatives. Saints and Potchefstroom Primary are based in Potchefstroom, while Thuto Boswa is from Ventersdorp.
All three schools will aim to return to the City of Expertise with trophies in their possession and millions of rands in their pockets.
Thirty-six school teams and nearly 600 footballers will participate in this landmark tournament.
JB Marks Executive Mayor, Gaba Thithiba Ka Qhele, wished the teams well and congratulated them on becoming North West champions. All the schools were also kitted out in special kits from the Municipality and received special certificates to mark the memorable achievement.
