Die Wilge High School created history when they claimed their first-ever LSEN Inter-Schools athletics title in the school’s 70-year history.
Die Wilge’s athletes collectively secured an impressive 105 medals on the day, consisting of 43 gold, 34 silver, and 28 bronze medals.
17 athletes will also go on to represent the school at the SA Championships in April. This showcases the depth of talent at the school.
Several individual athletes earned top honours for their performances.

Mohau Lesemola received the trophies for Best Middle-Distance Athlete as well as Best Single Outstanding Performance, underlining his talent.
In the girls division, Jessica Deysel was crowned as the Senior Victrix Ludorum for an overall top performance.
