Three day fair to aid Hospice
It's all systems go for the second annual Khanya Hospice three-day fair from 6 December in Craigieburn at the DSB grounds.

The inaugural fair last year attracted nearly 12,000 people over the three days. “This was fantastic support from the local community, stakeholders and sponsors,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald. “It is due to this overwhelming support that Eddie’s Fun Fair, a host of entertainment, lots of stalls and the popular ‘Khanya Has Talent’ will take place again this year.”
Stallholders are invited to book their stalls early to avoid disappointment. “We are not only looking for people who sell eats and treats, we are also looking for people and companies who would like to showcase their products and have continual demonstrations for the duration of the fair such as woodwork, handcraft, paper machê, sewing machine demos, worm gardens, compost making, recycling and going green, dress-making, pottery, paintings and drawings, cooking demos or baking and icing techniques.
We are also trying to honour the call from the National Minister of Sport and Recreation, Fikile Mbalula to revive school sport. We are targeting the youth and all children with the intention to encourage them to be involved in ongoing school sport and leagues. We would like to call on various sport captains, sport trainers and club managers to come forward and participate in the fair. They can have ongoing demonstrations of their sport, slide shows and the players can be there to speak to the youth.”
