Toti nippers kick off new season

TOTI Lifesaving Club nippers started their first training session of the season on Saturday at Toti main beach, with great weather and plenty of excitement and enthusiasm thrown in.

After what felt like a long winter break, the team was eager to get back into the water.

The coach needed more encouragement than the children – it's normally the other way around. Nippers is not only great for the exercise, it also teaches children how to be safe in the sea, and possibly even save a life one day.

Training will continue every Saturday morning 8am to 10am and/or Sunday from 11am to 12.30pm at Toti main beach. Children between the ages of six and 13-years-old are welcome. Call James on 082-465-8280.
