Women’s doubles tennis champs wraps up

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club had a very successful women’s doubles championship round robin on Saturday afternoon.

Six women couples took to the court and played some amazing tennis.

The champs will be announced at prize-giving on 1 November.

The men’s doubles championship round robin will be played on Saturday, 25 October. At the moment the club has five couples entered but late entries will be accepted. Play will commence at 1pm so arrive at the club on time.

Note that two courts will be available for social games. Last Thursday the midweek women hosted women from Umdoni who were delighted to join in for some good tennis. Thank you to the women who played and provided refreshments for the morning.
