At last all the holidays are over and the 2015 scheduled bowling competitions can commence as planned.
On Friday, 2 January, Winklespruit Bowling Club social bowls was well supported with some bowlers from Firwood Bowling Club in Queensburgh joining in. The attendance draw was won by Greg Dickason who was absent.
The Warner Beach Garage petrol draw was won by Jeanette Smith.
On Saturday, 3 January, the monthly Scroungers was played. The champion winner was Brian Farmer and Harry van Vuuren was runner up. The A plate winner was Sonny Brunson and Elaine Critchlow walked away the winner of the plate B competition.
Diarise the following: Wednesday, 7 January – social bowls at 1.30pm for 2pm. Thursday, 8 January – men’s nominated trips. Call Mike Joyce on 083-226-3561. Friday, 9 January – social bowls at 2pm for 2.30pm. Sunday, 11 January – Lincon Steakhouse sponsored mixed 2-4-2. Place your name on the players list on the notice board if you want to enter.
