A JOINT operation between the police from Brighton Beach police station, Bluff Community Police Forum, Durban Metro Police and private security sector yielded positive results recently.
Over 130 vehicles were stopped and checked, some drivers were arrested for drunk driving, while others were fined for violating road safety rules.
This operation was part of ongoing efforts to keep The Bluff safe this festive season.

Bluff CPF said in a statement, “Efforts are ongoing, and all stakeholders are committed to ensuring a safe festive season for The Bluff even in the pouring rain.”
The Brighton Beach police and Bluff CPF thanked the community for their support and patience on the day.
