There were plenty of thrilling clashes in schoolboy rugby at the weekend, with several matches being decided by a point.

Affies broke the hearts of Jeppe, winning 38-36 in a thrilling match in Joburg, while in Bloemfontein Grey College hammered Selborne 103-14 in two of the biggest schoolboy rugby matches played on Saturday.
Parktown edged St John’s 19-14, while Pretoria Boys High fell to Michaelhouse 24-31.
There were wins for St Stithians, Waterkloof and KES, but Monument lost to Helpmekaar.
In the Eastern Cape, Graeme College edged Nico Malan by a point in a high-scoring affair, while Grey High were beaten at home by a point by St Andrew’s.
In the Western Cape there were wins for Paarl Gim, Paul Roos and Paarl Boys High, while in KZN, DHS, Maritzburg and Westville recorded victories.
Also, in Bethlehem, the big town derby between Witteberg and Voortrekker ended with the former winning a thrilling match 34-33.
