AWOL Chiefs midfielder  linked with Zambian giants

Out-of-favour Kaizer Chiefs midfielder James Kotei has been linked with a move to Zesco United.

Kotei, who is reportedly gone AWOL, was said to be on the verge of joining Young Africans, but now reports have emerged that he is headed for Zambia.

As reported earlier, Amakhosi coach Ernst Middendorp has revealed that the midfielder has not showed up for training sessions at Naturena.

“Actually, I can’t really give you an answer on where you should or could be satisfied. He was not at the training session this morning [Sunday],” Middendorp told the media.

“Yesterday (Saturday), he was also not, so that’s the first part. I don’t where he is or what is on stake.”

Kotei has failed to break into Middendorp’s starting line up since joining the Soweto giants from Tanzanian side Simba SC at the start of the season.
