Kerr’s reaction on first training session with Baroka

New Baroka FC coach Dylan Kerr says he enjoyed his first training session with his new squad ahead of their first game of the year against Cape Town City on Sunday.

Kerr got to prepare his charges for the first time at the Baroka Village, which is not yet complete.

However, the English reckons the Baroka facilities are good for football and says Thursday’s session for him was all about getting to know his players.

“The facilities are very good to play football. Everything was new today for the preparation of the game on Sunday against Cape Town City. It’s an important game because I think we need to put a stamp on football in the PSL,” said the Baroka.

“Today was all about getting to know the players, their attributes, getting to know their character-who smiles, who doesn’t smile. Who enjoys, who is supportive and who is a team player. I enjoyed today’s training session, it was the first time they got introduced to my training sessions.”

Kerr replaced Wedson Nyirenda at Bakgaga, with the English making his return to the PSL having coached Black Leopards.
