AmaZulu want PSL to take action against spitting Mhango

AmaZulu media officer Brilliant Mkhathini says the club has filed an official complained with the Premier Soccer League regarding Bidvest Wits’ Gabadinho Mhango for spitting on Michael Morton’s face.

Mhango reacted to a tackle made to him by an AmaZulu player as he was sprinting into the Usuthu half. The Malawian international got up spat at Morton who was pushing him away from the Usuthu player.

Morton was sent off while Mhango received medical treatment and stayed on the field.

“We plan on doing that, we have spoken about it in our meeting on Thursday morning and it is already being done,” said Mkhathini.

“It is not something we want to talk about, and we don’t encourage our player’s behaviour (Morton pushing Mhango), but it is understandable under those circumstances.”
