Morris explains what it takes to move to Europe
Former Bafana Bafana defender Nasief Morris believes commitment and hard work can get any local player to Europe.

South Africa has been exporting a number of players to Europe over the years, with the latest player to make a move overseas being Lebogang Manyama who signed for Turkish side Konyaspor from Cape Town City before the transfer window closed.
“Players need to realised that they must use the opportunities to the best of their ability. They need to play well and maintain that, not to be comfortable that I got a deal and relax. They need to work ever harder, do extra work off the field and always try and better themselves. It takes working harder to stay at the top than it does getting to the top. If there is an opportunity to go overseas, take it and work hard when you get there,” said Morris.

Morris says being on top of his game each season led to him to play professionally in South Africa before making his move to Europe where he played for over a decade.
The 36-year-old played for several teams on his return from Europe.
“When I came back I went to SuperSport United then I was loaned to Santos and then ended up at Milano. They looked like a team that could get promoted at the time, and I wanted to help Santos come back, as you know I started at Santos before going overseas. But things didn’t work out,” concluded Morris.
