City chairman thanked Mateo for his contribution to the club’s success and growth in support.

“Cape Town City chairman John Comitis also took the opportunity to recognise the humble and much-loved mascot Mateo Manousakis. The chairman will be paying Mateo’s school fees next season to honour Mateo’s contribution to ibhola lethu,” read a tweet from Cape Town City.
