Pirates legend compares Pule to Leremi and Mahlangu

Moloi is a fan of the skilful attacker who has become a fan favourite since joining from Bidvest Wits at the start of the season.

Orlando Pirates legend Teboho Moloi believes Vincent Pule can create the magic that Jabu Mahlangu and Gift Leremi made in the colours of the Buccaneers.

The former Chippa United coach has compared Pule to Mahlangu and Leremi, who were fan favourites at Pirates.

Moloi said Pule was confident on the ball and showed his skill because he played football in township tournaments.

Moloi came up through the same tournaments in QwaQwa.

“You can tell he is a township boy who played kasi football tournaments and it is against this background that he has settled so well at Pirates,” Moloi told City Press. “Pule has a sense and a good feel of what the fans want – entertaining football. He loves the crowd, rather like Jabu Mahlangu and [the late] Gift Leremi.”
