Ex-Baroka goalkeeper admits to abusing alcohol
Former Baroka FC goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke revealed that he was sacked by the Limpopo side because of his drinking problem.

The 2017 Puskás Nominee says he blames himself for how his relationship with Baroka ended because they gave him several chances to change his ways.
Masuluke said he realised late that he was wasting his talent and ruining his football career by drinking alcohol.
The lanky goalkeeper struggled to find a club after he was sacked by Baroka for allegedly drinking on the team bus after a game with his teammates and coach Kgoloko Thobejane.
He later joined Witbank Spurs which was relegated at the end of the season and was reportedly not paying players for months.
“I used to be a heavy drinker, I drank too much,” said Masuluke at the Wise Roadshow at Xitlakati Village. “Alcohol almost ruined my career, I could still be at Baroka.
“In January after I was sacked by Baroka, my wife gave birth to our child. It was difficult because we need money for the baby’s nappies and food. My wife was the one supporting the family financially during this time.
“I learned that alcohol and friends are a bad combination, which I don’t need in my life anymore. The friends I was drinking with on the Baroka bus go around bad-mouthing me these days.”
