AmaZulu eye top eight finish

AmaZulu goalkeeper Siyabonga Mbatha says the club can be able to challenge for a top-eight finish this season.

“We have a strong team and I honestly think that we can achieve something special this season,” Mbatha told his club’s website.

“We have the quality to challenge for a top-eight finish in the league and in football – anything is possible. So, I believe that a top-eight finish is achievable for us this season. We just need to fight as a team and be consistent.”

The 28-year old says the upcoming Telkom Knockout presents Usuthu with a chance of winning silverware this season.

“There’s also the Telkom Knockout which is coming up very soon. A chance to win some silverware.

“A good cup run could take us to the final. It would be great to have some cup success as well this season.”
