AmaZulu player happy with Eswatini experience

Hlalele was in the team and got an assist in the 2-0 win over Wanderers and said the experience was great.

Charlie Hlalele has hailed the side’s trip to Eswatini where they played two friendly games against Manzini Wanderers and Mbabane Swallows, believing it whetted the players’ appetite ahead of the final stretch in the Absa Premiership.

AmaZulu FC midfielder was in the team and got an assist in the 2-0 win over Wanderers and said the experience was great.

“We gained a lot of experience from them in terms of being able to play against other teams at an international level. We were able to see various styles of play from other teams different from the way we play at home,” said the 24-year-old.

“I believe that playing such friendly games helps us immensely as a team, because we gain a lot of international exposure in terms of being able to adapt to any style of play we may come across.”

On Sunday, Usuthu drew 0-0 with Eswatini giants, Swallows in a pulsating game.
