Chiefs sign Serbian striker

Kaizer Chiefs have signed striker Samir Nurković on a three-year deal.

Nurković agreed to a three-year contract with the Soweto Giants.

The 27-year-old is the third signing for Chiefs in the current transfer window after striker Lazarous Kambole and midfielder James Kotei.

Nurković joins Chiefs from KFC Komarno in Serbia on a three-year deal.

He scored 12 goals for KFC Komarno in 13 appearances last season and adds to the Amakhosi striking department.

“Kaizer Chiefs welcome their new player, Samir Nurković, on a three-year contract,” read a tweet from Chiefs.

“The striker was born in the Republic of Serbia in 1992. He recently played for KFC Komarno in Serbia, where he had an impressive 2018/19 season. Samir will wear jersey number 9.”
