Cosmos partners with Brazilian club

Jomo Cosmos have announced a new partnership with Brazilian side Gremio Esportivo Mauaense.

The deal will see Cosmos owner Jomo Sono being part of the board of the Brazilian outfit.

In addition, the two teams will also be exchanging players and already four Ezenkosi players are going to Brazil, while three Brazilian players are in the country training with Cosmos.

The partnership was announced at a media briefing at the Holiday Inn, Sandton on Wednesday morning.

Sono confirmed that the deal has been finalised and says he is honoured to serve on the board of the Brazilian club.

The former Orlando Pirates playmaker says he was approached by the club to partner with them and they told him they know him from his playing days and would like to work with him.
