Downs youngster believes in Khanye

Having grown up in Daveyton, East-Rand close to Kanye’s home, the Sundowns reserve team player looked up to Khanye during his heydays at Amakhosi. Mkhuma, reveals that he modelled his game around Khanye and whenever he is at home during the off-season he trains with him.

“He is still good at what he does, he is just unbelievable, I guess it is something that is in his blood and it will never go away,” said Mkhuma.

“I train with him when I am at home and I could see that he add a lot of value in any team that would give him a chance.”

Khanye, now 33-years old, has also played for the National Under-20 and Under-23 team had a promising career. But some off the field incidents led him saw his career taking a nose-dive. He has also previously played for Malanti Chiefs in Swaziland, Platinum Stars, Maritzburg United and United FC.
