Ex-Chippa midfielder training with NFD side

Former Chippa United attacking midfielder Tshwarelo Bereng could join National First Division side Royal Eagles.

Bereng, who was on Kaizer Chiefs’ wish list at the beginning of the season, is currently being assessed by Eagles coach Roger Sikhakhane and his technical team.

“Bereng has been seen around Royal Eagles, he has been in contact with James Dlamini (the team club manager) and has been at the club’s games,”  a source told Phakaaathi.

“I know that he is at the training grounds of the club and is being assessed by the club, they haven’t signed him yet. But that could still happen.”

The source added that Eagles have let go of some players and are looking to bring in the former Moroka Swallows attacking midfielder as a replacement.
