Ex-Pirates defender surfaces at Maccabi
Former Orlando Pirates defender Rooi Mahamutsa is training with National First Division side Maccabi FC.

Mahamutsa is a free agent after he was released by Free State Stars following their relegation to the National First Division (NFD) last season.
“Rooi is at the club, he joined Maccabi for training at the end of last week and is determined 5to get a contract here,” a source within the club told Isolezwe.
“The only concern is can the club management pay him the amount he asked for. I don’t think he would like to get a salary cut because he is used to getting a certain amount of money every month.”
Meanwhile, Mahamutsa’s former teammates, Goodman Dlamini and Patrick Phungwayo are searching for new clubs after they were also sacked by Stars.
