Former Chiefs striker ‘too fat’ to join Leopards

Bongani Ndulula lost out on a chance to join National First Division side Black Leopards due to weight issues.

Ndulula and Lucky Khune joined Lidoda Duvha last week Monday to train with the team, however Leopards decided to release Ndulula a week later.

According to Lidoda Duvha team manager, Leopards coach Joel Masutha felt that the former Bafana Bafana striker is overweight and will need two months to get in shape.

“This Monday our coach decided to drop Ndulula. He said it would take about a month or two to prepare, he is too fat and it would take time for him to be ready to come in. We are not only looking for a striker, we are looking for someone who is fit to come in as soon as possible and Ndulula hasn’t played in a long time,” the club’s team manager Elijah Mulaudzi told Phakaaathi.
