Kaizer Chiefs ordered to play Spurs behind closed doors
Chiefs were also fined R50 000 with a further R300 000 suspended.

Kaizer Chiefs will play Cape Town Spurs behind closed doors in the DStv Premiership on November 8 at FNB Stadium after they were found again found guilty on Tuesday of spectator misbehaviour.
Amakhosi fans pelted former head coach Molefi Ntseki with missiles after they were knocked out of the Carling Black Label Knockout by AmaZulu at FNB Stadium on October 21.
It was the fourth incident of spectator violence from Chiefs fans this season, and has resulted in a lockout being put into effect after a hearing on Tuesday.
Chiefs were also fined R50 000, the previously suspended amount kicking in after this repeat offence. They were also fined a further R300 000, “suspended for six months on the condition they are not found guilty of the same offence,” said PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu.
Neutral venue
Chiefs will also have to play a home game at a neutral venue if Amakhosi fans repeat their misbehaviour in the next six months.
Ntseki was sacked on the Monday after the AmaZulu loss and replaced by Cavin Johnson, who has stepped in as interim head coach. His tenure got off to a losing start on Saturday in Hammarsdale, as Chiefs lost 2-1 to Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership.
Johnson’s first home game in charge of Chiefs against Spurs will now be in almost complete silence, at an empty, cavernous FNB Stadium.
