Maritzburg players struck by lightning during friendly game
Two Maritzburg United players and one from Arsenal FC were hit by lightning during a friendly game in KZN.

The Team of Choice played a friendly game against a local team called Arsenal FC ahead of tomorrow night’s game against SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
United players are said to be critical, and have been rushed to the hospital for treatment on Friday afternoon.
“It was during a friendly, two Maritzburg players were rushed to the hospital. They were playing against a local team in Maritzburg called Arsenal. I don’t know the names of the players but they have been rushed to the hospital,” a source told Phakaaathi.
