Mashaba accuses Bafana coach of favouritism

Shakes Mashaba is convinced that Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter does not make the final decision on who to call up to the national team.

Speaking to The Sowetan, Mashaba accused Baxter of favouritism, saying he should select players like Siphelele Ntshangase.

“I think number one. What can make us win [against Libya], stop favouritism. As a coach, work with your technical team. Number two. Stop this thing of being influenced when selecting the team,” Mashaba is quoted as saying by The Sowetan.

“Sit on the grand stand and watch players play, because at the moment there are players who do not deserve to be in the national team. I do not care what people say. But they are there, I do not know why.”
