Former PSL star to lose his house – report

Sifiso Vilakazi reportedly fell behind on his 'nest' in the Norkem Park suburb.

According to a report in tabloid Sunday World, Bidvest Wits’ former midfielder Sifiso Vilakazi has struggled to keep up with payments on his house in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, and FNB now has a court order granted to attach it.

The High Court in Pretoria reportedly granted the order after Vilakazi allegedly failed to keep up with payments on the R800 000 property, which the tabloid says he bought in 2010.

Last year, the balance on the house, excluding interest, was R715 000, according to Sunday World.

Vilakazi bought the house with a partner, though she was not reached for comment.

The former player, however, told the tabloid that he had no idea what they were talking about and claimed he had settled an amount of “R15 000” owing on the property in June 2016. He also claimed to have no idea why the bank had applied for an attachment order against him in November.
