Mokoena wins Goal of the Month award

SuperSport United midfielder Teboho Mokoena has won the Absa Premiership Goal of the Month award for February.

Mokoena scored a stunning long-range drive towards the dying minutes of their 3-2 win over Golden Arrows.

Mokoena’s goal was nominated among other great strikes by Kermit Erasmus, whose goal came second in votes behind Mokoena, Anthony Laffor, Gift Links, Matome Mabeba, Thato Madigoe, Ben Motshwari, Walter Musona, Tapelo Nyongo and Harris Tchilimbou.

The young Bafana Bafana midfielder was handed his award at United training grounds on Thursday morning.

“CONGRATULATIONS to SuperSport United FC midfielder Teboho Mokoena, the Absa Premiership Goal of the Month winner (February 2019) as voted by you,” read a tweet from the PSL.
