TBT: Molefi Ntsoelengoe
In our first instalment of Throwback Thursday, we spoke to former SuperSport United and Moroka Swallows midfielder Molefi Ntsoelengoe and asked him about his most memorable game.

Ntsoelengoe says his most memorable game was when they came back from behind to beat the Orlando Pirates and ended their unbeaten run.
Pirates, who were coached by Kosta Papic, were on the verge of breaking an 18-game unbeaten record set by Jomo Sono when they were beaten 4-3 by SuperSport at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
“Orlando Pirates players didn’t want to shake our hands after that game,” Ntsoelengoe told Phakaaathi.
“The game was not televised, we knew before the game that the Tsumani squad wanted to break that record and we wanted to beat them,” Ntsoelengoe added. “We went into the game with them leading 2-0, the stadium was buzzing, come second half we scored one, then we equalised, we took the lead then in the last minute we score the winning goal.
“After the game they were so upset they didn’t even shake our hands, they walked off, we had spoiled their chance of the record, and it was a big game for us.”
