Orlando Pirates bag R1,5 million for winning Q3

Orlando Pirates have been crowned winners of Premiership Q-Innovation for the first time since it was introduced back in 2012.

The Buccaneers were declared Quarter Three (Q3) winners for the 2017/18 season, pocketing a R1,5 million prize money in the process.

“The League congratulates Orlando Pirates for this achievement. The Club walks away with R1.5 million prize money,” read a statement from the PSL.

Mamelodi Sundowns won the Q-2, but they finished third on the log in this quarter behind Bidvest Wits.

Baroka FC won the first quarter at the beginning of the season.
