Tau promises an improved performance against Namibia

Percy Tau has promised a much improved Bafana Bafana team when they take on Namibia in their next game.

The Belgium striker believes they could have done better in their tie against the Ivorians, but said they would go back to the drawing board to ensure that they were ready for a clash against the Namibians.

“I think we got our touches on attack it was going to be better. But we couldn’t do that, we couldn’t get in the game. But this is the first match, I’m sure we will see a lot of improvement in the next game from myself as well,” Tau told journalists after the game.

“We are also excited to play them. We are looking forward to the match, we just have to look at our game and see what we need to do much better in attack and to defend better as a team, which we did well. It’s going to be a nice challenge for us to play against Namibia.”

South Africa will face off with Namibia at Al-Salam Stadium on Friday night.
