You have got to give Wits respect – Mosimane

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says Bidvest Wits will not be a walkover when they face them on Saturday evening.

Sundowns will look to increase their lead at the top when they face the Clever Boys in a league clash at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

“You have got to give Wits a very good respect, if you look at SuperSport (against Orlando Pirates), I knew that it is going to be a tough one because look at SuperSport when they played us, they were not playing very well but we couldn’t even beat them, we came from behind to draw. It is SuperSport United, the personnel they have there is Dean Furman, Clayton Daniels, (Aubrey) Modiba, they are a good team,” Mosimane told the media.

“The challenge is, with Wits, you never know which team pitches, (you) never know. Look at the line-up over the last three games. It is not (the) first time, Gavin (Hunt) changes the team today and tomorrow and he is one coach who can do that and gets it right, he isn’t afraid to change. He can change five and he gets it right, he does that, his line-up is never consistent but whenever he does it, he gets it right.

“Not (just) the personnel, even the formation, you never know when it’s three at the back, five at the back, or it is a four. So whatever comes, comes, you will only know when it’s on the pitch because even on the team sheet you keep guessing,” he added.
