Lorch to join Tau in Belgium – report

Orlando Pirates playmaker Thembinkosi Lorch has attracted interest from Belgium side Club Brugge.

The Belgium side reportedly tabled an offer for the reigning Absa Premiership player of the season.

According to Voetbalnieuws, Pirates turned down a R30 million ($2.1 million) offer from Club Brugge.

Brugge is expected to submit another offer for Pirates to release the 26-year-old.

Lorch will be the second South African on the books of Brugge as Percy Tau is on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Pirates man missed out on a chance to go overseas at the end of last season after winning the player of the season award when Pirates rejected an offer from an unnamed European side.

Lorch revealed that he would still like to move to Europe.
