Police close illegal scrapyard in Sharpeville
Police Spokesperson Constable Busisiwe Sango reports that a second-hand goods operation that was carried out recently in the Sharpeville policing precinct yielded good results.

SHARPEVILLE. – This follows the closing of an illegal scrapyard operating in Phuma Sibethane informal settlement.
Sango says, “The operation was led by second hand goods officer Constable Mntambo and Sergeant Victor. The scrap was closed and a suspect arrested because he was found to be trading illegally.”
Sango adds that all the items that were found at the scrapyard were seized and forfeited to the state.
