Four people were left injured on Monday morning, one of them critically when a light motor crashed into the side of a truck on the Mooibank Road outside of Potchefstroom.

A wrecked light motor vehicle and truck were found in the middle of the road a short distance apart said ER24.

“The Provincial paramedics were treating three other patients from the light motor vehicle.
Fire Services had to use specialised rescue equipment to free the man from the vehicle. Once freed, the man was treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Potchefstroom Provincial Hospital for further care.”
The three other patients were transported by the Provincial Services to Potchefstroom Hospital.
