Modern Upholsterers, one of Vanderbijlpark’s oldest small businesses still in existence today, has been creating a new showroom for the new generation with lots of colours and fabric ranges at Sylviavale Heritage Village. On March 11 the company commemorated their existence since 1964 and celebrated the opening of a new show room.

The occasion featured gentle gin, relaxing sax, a roast coffee bar and exquisite canapes. Staff, friends and customers gathered under starlit skies to view a wide range of wallpaper releases, peruse upholstered furniture and fabrics, and enjoy decor and colour in Modern upholstery style.

“Our team forms part of the 1964 legacy,” says Joanne Duvel of Modern Upholsterers. “Our wallpaper addition to the shop adds colour and quality for interior upliftment. We are proudly building a team for our clients with love, skill and friendship.
