Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) said on Wednesday that water supply to Roshnee, Rus-Ter-Val and Unitas Park will be shut down on Thursday, 29 July.

The water shut down is expected to take place between 08h00 until 14h30.

In a statement, the municipality said the water shut down is due to the completion the installation of a bulk water meter in Helenasrus.

The municipality has advised affected consumers to collect water for domestic consumption only (drinking, cooking and bathroom) until the meter installation is completed.

ELM has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
