Billboard highlights Midvaal’s achievements

The new billboard was unveiled on Friday and bears testament to the municipality's achievements.

MIDVAAL. A new billboard along the R59 highway in Randvaal highlights the Midvaal local municipality’s achievement of having been rated as Ratings Afrika’s most financially sustainable municipality for a third consecutive year.

Midvaal tied for first place with Mossel Bay Municipality in Ratings Afrika’s annual Municipal Sustainability Index (MFSI) for the financial year end of 2023.

Featuring the face of the Executive Mayor, Alderman Peter Teixeira, and the words “Midvaal consistently championing financial stability.

Consecutive Ratings Afrika Award Winners,” the board bears testament of the municipality’s good track record over the past few years.

The billboard right opposite the Heineken Sedibeng Brewery was unveiled on Friday 24 May.

Present during the unveiling were Teixeira, members of the mayoral committee, the municipal manager, Anton Groenewald and Leon Claassen from Ratings Afrika.
