SEDIBENG.- The Vaal Marina SAPS together with different stakeholders found expired goods at different businesses during an operation in the area on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson, Constable Tshilidzi de Huis said the aim of the operation was to prevent any complaints of food poisoning from the community.

“The members seized the expired goods and destroyed them with the assistance of the Midvaal Local Municipality’s (MLM’s) waste department. About 250 items were seized and destroyed.”
