Family seeks answers after Sebokeng woman vanishes

“As a family, they would like to request the public to assist with any information that may help in reuniting them with Mongalo”.

SEBOKENG. – The police are investigating the disappearance of Lesisitheho Mongalo (25), who was reported missing by her family.

It is alleged that on August 31, 2024, Mongalo ‘s relative, Maselebalo Khetse, received a call from her aunt (Mongalo’s mother), who is in Lesotho. She stated that she received a call from Mongalo’s husband, who alleged that Mongalo had left with her belongings and travelled in an unknown vehicle to an unknown location.

On January 4, Mongalo’s mother received a call from someone saying that they had information about what happened to Mongalo.

“On January 6, the person who called Mongalo’s mother denied the information she had communicated, and upon further investigation, it was discovered that Mongalo’s husband had already reported her as missing. As a family, they would like to request the public to assist with any information that may help in reuniting them with Mongalo,” said police spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane.
