VEREENIGING – South Africa’s top amateur golfers descended on Maccauvlei Golf Club from 8 to 10 June for the 2026 Harry Oppenheimer Invitational Trophy.

Played over 54 holes, the tournament attracted a strong field of amateur talent as players competed over three days of golf.

After consistent performances throughout the tournament, Christopher Bagnall emerged victorious, finishing on five-under-par to claim the title by a single stroke.

The Harry Oppenheimer Trophy remains an important event on the South African amateur golf calendar and continues to provide a competitive platform for talented golfers.
