Sibongumenzi is a video journalist at The Citizen. Formerly he was an Associate Producer for international news NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation). He has travelled to more than seven countries in Africa covering breaking news, feature news and political news. He holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Journalism. Sibiya was a finalist in the Tshwane University of Technology Television Journalist of the Year Awards in 2014.
