Former Vuzu presenter Cyprian joins Club 808

Friday night television is about to get interesting.

Former Vuzu presenter Cyprian Ndlovu has moved over to e.tv as the host of Club 808 with Boity Thulo as his co-host. The 22-year-old didn’t say a word when he left Vuzu last year to focus on his own productions, but he insists there is no bad blood with his former employers.

“I sat down with them and told them that I had other plans for 2015 and they understood.”

Ndlovu has since had small roles on youth soapies Skeem Saam, Rhythm City and Tempy Pushas.

The new revamped show will see Ndlovu and his co-host Boity Thulo having one on one chats with some of the country’s hottest musicians.

Thulo laughed when asked about Club 808 being in competition with VEntertainment.

“I love the people at Vuzu; I think it’s going to be fun to have them as rivals.” Thulo believes that Club 808 will be more popular simply because it isn’t on pay television.

Club 808 is going to be the best show on at 6pm on a Friday night”, says a less modest Ndlovu, “that’s all I’m going to say”.

The presenters will make their debut on Club 808 on the 6th of March at 6pm on e.tv.
