Menlyn Park offers fashion from local DJs

Fantastic sale bargains, surprise visits from celebrities and spot prizes keep things on the boil at Pretoria’s most popular mall.

Menlyn Park Shopping Centre’s annual winter sale runs from June 24 to July 31, putting a sizzle into the chilly season with pop-up shops showcasing the latest fashion and accessories from top local DJs.

Menlyn customers can look forward to awesome pop-up shops, by three leading DJs in the industry. DJs Euphonik and Kent have teamed up on a new clothing range called Debut. Inspired by bustling cities such as Hong Kong and Amsterdam, Debut features garments with an urban edge, from graphic T-shirts to denim jackets. “Bringing our range to Menlyn will give it exposure to all our followers and also give us a chance to interact with them,” says DJ Euphonik.

DJ Zinhle, who took on the largely male-dominated DJ scene and became a household name in South Africa, will be exhibiting her colourful accessory range, Era. “I’m looking forward to interacting with my fans and giving them a chance to buy my range directly from Menlyn, as it’s normally only available online,” she says.

Great prizes are up for grabs, including six shopping experiences with one of the shopping centre’s in-demand personal shoppers valued at over R10 000. “We’re excited to showcase our newest winter offerings, from trench coats, boots and scarves. Our winter sale will give our shoppers a taste of what we have on offer,” says Andrea de Wit, marketing manager of Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, which is set to become Africa’s largest shopping mall with its ambitious R2 billion expansion and refurbishment project. It will add 50 000 square metres of retail space and 200 more stores to Pretoria’s premier shopping destination.

Every week for the duration of the sale, six lucky shoppers will win a personal shopper experience. “We are encouraging everyone to join the conversation on our social media platforms, and in return we are giving away the ultimate prize of having your own personal shopper and spending money, to take advantage of our great winter specials,” says De Wit.
