Nothing kicks off the year like a couple of cute bums, and our South African boys have proven it time and again.
From Bryan Habana twinning with his boys in Speedos, to Willem Botha bragging with his tan lines, and Kaalgat Karel posing with ‘bubbles en boude’, South African boys come in first when it comes to cute bums with Speedos (or not) – and we’re here to show you why.
Posing in a Speedo for a cause
Faf de Klerk has been seen posing in his Speedo more than once, but sometimes it’s for a good cause.
In November 2019, he posed in a South African flag-themed Speedo to create awareness for testicular cancer.
He even challenged a couple of his Springbok rugby teammates, including the likes of Siya Kolisi and Jesse Kriel, to do the same.
Matchy, matchy bum bums
Siya Kolisi flaunted his buttocks in a similar Speedo in October last year, while spending time at &Beyond’s Phinda Game Reserve with his family before heading back on tour.
The Springbok captain seems to be a fan of Speedos, often posing in matching swimsuits with his wife, Rachel, and it looks like the Budgy Smuggler brand might now also have rubbed off on his boys!
Bryan Habana twinning with his boys
Former Springbok Bryan Habana kicked off the new year twinning with his boys, saying they’re “just a couple of foxes smuggling into 2022.”
Melinda Bam’s hubby Adriaan Bergh certainly has a naughty streak.
He posted a photo on Instagram from a holiday in the Maldives, saying: “Holidays make me as happy as the ‘naughty’ boy I was, or still am…”
In the photo, he is seen balancing on a SUP, with his bare buttocks stealing the show.
‘Show me your tan lines’
On Willem Botha’s Instagram feed, there is no space for post-holiday blues.
In a recent post, he is seen posing in a yellow Speedo, bragging with his holiday tan.
He captioned the photo: “Show me your tan lines, then I’ll show you mine.”
Francois Jacobs is known for his role in the Afrikaans movie, Kaalgat Karel.
The famous film streaker is all but reluctant to show off his buttocks on social media.
He will also be seen as the bachelor in the second season of kykNET’s Op My Eish! with Schalk Bezuidenhout as his wing-man.
