Beyonce believes she could ‘talk’ to Blue Ivy during labour
Beyonce believe she was able to communicate with Blue Ivy during labour because she had such a strong maternal connection with the tot.

Beyonce felt she was able to communicate with Blue Ivy during labour.
The ‘Halo’ singer claims she felt very maternal while pregnant with her 18-month-old daughter whom she has with her rapper husband Jay Z and says she felt a ”strong connection” with her that enabled her to talk to the tot while she was giving birth in February 2011 and their connection even helped her to overcome the pain.
Speaking to the November issue of Australia’s Marie Claire magazine, Beyonce revealed: ”I felt very maternal at around eight months and I thought I couldn’t become any more until I saw the baby … But it happened during my labour because I had a very strong connection with my child.
”I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I could think about my own pain … we were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication.”
Despite being one of the world’s most famous musicians, Beyonce says she still gets anxious due to the pressures of fame and the fear of failing. She said: ”I’m still completely nervous, I still feel pressure.”
The 32-year-old R&B star also admits she often reads articles about herself if she comes across them while surfing the internet, but she has to prevent herself from reading comments written by the public.
She laughed: ”Don’t scroll down! You’re definitely going to get your feelings hurt.”
