PICS: After beating New Zealand, Cheslin Kolbe celebrates his 30th birthday in an all-black affair

The Springboks took on the All Blacks in the Rugby World Cup 2023 final on the day Cheslin Kolbe turned 30.

Since he was a little busy defending the Webb Ellis Cup on his birthday against the All Blacks, Springbok wing Cheslin Kolbe celebrated his 30th birthday in an all-black affair surrounded by loved ones.

Kolbe turned 30 on the final of the World Cup and hasn’t been able to properly celebrate his birthday with his loved ones since returning to the country because of the gruelling country-wide tour last week.

The Springboks played against New Zealand’s rugby team, the All Blacks, whom they beat 12 to 11 to retain the Webb Ellis Cup.

In 2018 when Kolbe made his debut for the Boks against Australia in Brisbane, he became Springbok No 911 and that number was represented at the birthday party, as well as his back-to-back World Cup wins.

He celebrated the special moment with his family, who were also with him throughout the World Cup in France.
