Kelvin Momo’s team has apologised to fans after he failed to show up at three confirmed performances.
The Amapiano star, whose real name is Thato Ledwaba, was recently scheduled to perform at Café 69, Piano Hub, and Makubenjalo.
His team released a statement on Monday explaining that he was unable to attend due to health complications.
“To our valued fans and patrons, we want to extend our sincerest apologies for missing our scheduled performances.
“Due to unforeseen health issues, our artist, Kelvin Momo, fell ill, forcing us to cancel these highly anticipated gigs,” the statement read.

Kelvin Momo dragged to court over a no-show
Earlier this month, Sunday World reported that Australian promoter Ace Events had filed a liquidation application against Momo’s company, Kelvin Momo Production, in the Johannesburg High Court.
This was after he failed to honour performance commitments in Melbourne and Perth, where he was booked to play 60-minute sets on two consecutive nights in November 2024.
Ace Events claims they are owed more than R2.8 million in refunds and damages after the DJ failed to appear.
In April this year, Momo withdrew from a headline performance at Zambia’s Piano Palooza festival. He later released a statement saying he was unable to attend due to a scheduling clash with another performance in Limpopo.
