Oh baby! Zoleka Mandela welcomes baby number six

The granddaughter of Nelson Mandela, Zoleka Mandela, has added one more bundle of joy to her beautiful family after welcoming her sixth child into the world on Friday 8 April.
The 42-year-old activist took to social media to post her baby’s birth card announcing that she has finally given birth to her long-awaited sixth child who she has named Zingce Zobuhle Mandela.
“Dear Diary, this morning (11:10) I gave birth to my daughter, Zingce Zobuhle Mandela. A day before my 42nd birthday!!! To my daughter, we did it, baby. Just me and you, thank you for choosing me as your MOM,” said Mandela in the caption of her post.

A day later, the mother-of-six took to her Instagram page to share a video from her hospital bed where she thanked her friends and followers for the birthday messages she received for her 42nd birthday that took place on 9 April, a day after her daughter was born.
In the caption of her post, Zoleka thanked everyone once again, and then mentioned how the birthday messages have reminded her of how blessed she is.
She also revealed that she and her newborn daughter are still in the hospital and that nurses have told her that Zingce has a big appetite, and is a happy and active baby.
“OMG!!! You guys, thank you all for the birthday messages, I can’t believe I’m 42yrs old today!!! You’ve all overwhelmed me with messages on Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook … you’ve also (all) reminded me yet again of how abundantly BLESSED I am so THANK YOU!!!
“Zingce and I are still in hospital – the nurse keeps saying she eats a lot and that she’s such an incredibly active baby … OMG!!! I’m so exhausted but mostly HAPPY and excited about having given birth to my 6th child!!! Happy Saturday, beloved hearts,” said Mandela in the caption of her post.
